Invesold-NY 155 and Invesold-NY 180 magnet wire are dual film constructions with a base-coat of modified polyurethane and a top-coat of polyamide (nylon). Standard color is red. They have excellent solderability (14-23 AWG @ 430° C, 24-44 @ 390° C), windability, and craze resistance. Invesold-NY 155 is UL recognized.
